Our Search Process
We start our search process with an intake session either in-person or via phone based on your convenience and availability. The objective of this intake session is to gain a full understanding of the positions, where they fit into your organizational chart, reporting structure, your company culture, target hiring date, compensation being offered, etc. This is perhaps the most important piece in the entire search process because if at the outset you are unable to give us a comprehensive summary of your needs, chances are that it will be a long winded process to find you those “star” candidates. Hence, it is recommended that you invest some time in clearly spelling out your requirements from the get-go as this will most certainly yield results that will give you a sense of confidence to hire as well as a good return on your investment.
We conduct comprehensive searches spanning across all the optimal sources relative to your particular positions in order to find potential candidates. We believe in being proactive; hence we always have our ears to the ground on candidate movements, trends and events in the talent market.
Once we have a pool of potential candidates through our diversified candidate sources, we conduct a thorough pre-screening and interview process to identify and shortlist 3-5 candidates. Depending upon the positions, if required we conduct Psychometric Assessments of each of the shortlisted candidates and then present to you along with a brief summary of our interview notes. This process normally takes about 2 weeks. These timelines may vary for senior level and ‘hard to fill’ positions.
Thereafter, as an employer it is required that face-to-face interviews are conducted at your earliest convenience as some candidates are actively looking for a new opportunity and will not be available on the job market for a very long time. Also, candidates especially those who are passive are prone to losing interest if the hiring process takes forever. It is important to keep the momentum going throughout the hiring process so that candidates remain engaged. This will ensure a better offer acceptance rate and it can be achieved if interviews are conducted and hiring decisions made within a reasonable time frame.
We can also present your offers to successful candidates and negotiate on your behalf to greatly improve the chances of a candidate accepting your offer and not considering a counter-offer. If required, we can also facilitate the appropriate Background Checks at an additional cost based on the requirements of the role such as Criminal Background Checks, International Background Checks, Credit Checks, Employment History Verifications, Driver’s Abstract, etc.
So coming back full circle to the point we made at the beginning of our search process – the more overall relevant information you provide to us the better equipped we are to find you those “star” candidates and seal the deal in a timely manner.
